Our 2010 show season is beginning, as Kara heads to her first show, The Northern Winter Classic in Rancho Murieta. Now is the time to prepare for the coming season. Please make sure all memberships have been updated with USEF, USHJA, Norcal, and PCHA, as well as any others deemed necessary. Also, make sure you have all essential show tack and apparel. Last but not least, make sure to check out KMC Farm's Show Information Page to eliminate any last minute horse show stress.

New Partnerships and Riders
Congratulations to Harrison Marhsall on the purchase of Hanalei Bay. After leasing Maggie for the last few months, Harrison decided to buy Maggie, as we all had hoped. Maggie has been in our barn for years and has lots of miles in the pony hunters, equitation and jumpers. She is a great teacher and offers a wealth of experience as Harrison is introduced to hunter/jumper riding. Harrison and Maggie are becoming a great pair and will be competing in the equitation and hunters next year.
Congratulations to Annika Hoy on the purchase of NZ Phelena. Previously imported from New Zealand, Phelena has show extensively throughout the California circuit with Butch & Lu Thomas. She is a wonderful mare, who is smart, quick, and clean. Be sure to keep an eye out for this pair in the Children's Jumpers. Thank you to Andrea Barbee of Dream Land Farms for making this purchase possible.
Congratulations to Annika Hoy on leasing Next Best Thing. Keely is a five year old dutch warmblood by Just the Best. She's extremely smart and a quick learner. It won't be long until this pair is competing in the hunters and equitation. Thank you to Kim Suddaby for this lovely mare.
Congratulations to Colleen Cavalier on the purchase of Simply Smashing. Fancy has been in our barn for many years. She was Ariana Kalff's first pony and then purchased by Connolly Bottom. Fancy has an excellent and thorough show record in the pony hunters, jumpers, and equitation. Fancy and Colleen will be competing in the pony divisions next year. We are so glad to continue to have this very special pony in our barn.
