Thank you to Lyda Hanson for making this lovely video of our riders at the June Classic.
This weekend a group of KMC riders headed to the Horse Park at Woodside for the Golden Gate Classic. After an exciting win in the Pony Equitation, Harrison Marshall took home the Reserve Championship in not only the Pony Equitation, but the Schooling Pony Hunters and Opportunity Crossrails as well. Emma Dawley put in consistent rounds in the big equitation and jumpers, including the win in the Hudson & Co. Medal. Colleen Cavalier sported a great attitude all weekend and claimed the Reserve Championship in Equitation 11 & Under. Cynthia Carroll and her horse EZ Street, claimed numerous ribbons in the Rusty Stirrup and Low Adult Hunters. NZ Phelena, piloted by Annika Hoy, were quick in the jumper arena, claiming the championship in the 1.00m Ch/Ad Jumpers. Thank you to Tracy Cotchett for lending Mr. Knightly to Lyda Hanson. Together they rode to the win in the Limit Jr/Am Equitation as well as numerous other top honors. Thank you to Cynthia Carroll for taking such great pictures of our riders this weekend. Congratulations to all our competitors and we look forward to the next show!

New Partnerships and Riders
A big welcome to Annette Holloway and her horse Valentino. This pair has been showing in the adult jumpers and has now joined the KMC Farm team. Good luck this coming season to both Annette and Val.
We would like to welcome Andres Monroy to the KMC Farm team as Kara's new assistant trainer. Andres, originally from Colombia, has been riding his entire life. For the past four years, Andres has worked in Texas, training and competing on the A circuit. He graduated from the University of Minnesota with a degree in Equine Management. We are excited to have Andres join the team and look forward to assistance.
Congratulations to Cynthia Kenyon on the purchase of Luc. Luc is a very handsome 16.3 hand gelding, who has been shown extensively on the southern California circuit. Good luck to Cynthia and Luc this season in the adult equitation and hunters. Thank you to Tracy Cotchett, of Carmel River Farm, for making this purchase possible.
Congratulations to Maddie Manfredi on the lease of Federick. Freddy is a very cute 15.3 hand hunter, shown competitively throughout Northern California. Look for Maddie and Freddy in hunter and equitation rings this coming show season.
Congratulations to Colleen Cavalier on the purchase of Simply Smashing. Fancy has been in our barn for many years. She was Ariana Kalff's first pony and then purchased by Connolly Bottom. Fancy has an excellent and thorough show record in the pony hunters, jumpers, and equitation. Fancy and Colleen will be competing in the pony divisions next year. We are so glad to continue to have this very special pony in our barn.
